Our Ownership Team has a combined total of over 80 years of experience in the Health Club and Personal Training Industry and the Financial and Technology Industries. Plus over 60 years of experience as Business Owners or Business Executives, managing some of the largest businesses in their given field of expertise.
John has over 20 years in the Fitness/Personal Training Industry. Certified by ISSA in 1997, NFPT 2003 and NASM in 2008, he has worked and managed at every level in the industry! Not only did John work several years as a successful Personal Trainer, but he was an entry level Sales Manager and worked his way up to Regional VP of Sales in the largest independent Personal Training Company in the US. He also worked in the Corporate Office as National Director of Field Operations, Customer Service Manager, Collections Manager, Computer Specialist Implementation Manager and eventually VP of Operations.
John worked one-on-one with Health Club Chain Owners and Managers for over a decade in over 350 health clubs in 18 states in the US with 1,800 employees. John played a large part of growing Professional Fitness, into an extremely profitable Company with an average $1,000,000 monthly reoccurring EFT/ACH draft and $200,000 POS transactions at an average price point of $22.50 per session.
Working as the Computer Specialist Implementation Manager he learned that the industry business management/CRM and fitness software was not very efficient. Using his unique organizational skills, combined with his ability to keep things simple, yet very effective, John created the concept of the most dynamic, efficient, user friendly software in the history of the Health Club and Personal Training Industry! Plus the system can be used for almost any business that offers a monthly paid service.
Also, since 2014 John has been licensed by the states of California, North Carolina and South Carolina as a Licensed Life Insurance Agent and owns his own independent agency, Poff Insurance (poffinsurance.com), partnered with Life and Annuity Masters (LAAM), an Independent Marketing Organization (IMO).
Latrone is a proud Marine Corp veteran where he was certified in Accounting and Tax Preparation. For over 12 years, Latrone has worked in the Health Club Industry as a General Sales Manager, Personal Training Sales Manager and has been extremely successful as a Personal Training. He has worked in all facets on the Health Club Industry, using his Personal Training Certification, Expert Rating.
Currently the General Manager of a 7-year existing Health Club in Lake Norman, NC. Corefit 24/7 generates over half a million dollars in revenue, per year. In addition, he is the Chief Executive Officer of a local digital marketing company, the Mind Source, that's been successfully operating for 2 years.
After graduating from Methodist University with a BS in Business Management and earning All-American honors in soccer, Nathan started working in the Heath Club industry. After a couple of years working as a General Manager and a Personal Training Sales Manager, Nathan became VP of Business development of Professional Fitness in 2004. In less than a year, Nathan helped to grow the business 120%. After his success of more than doubling the size of the business, Nathan became Executive VP and helped to increase the sales company by 90%. Nathan played an integrate role with the success of Professional Fitness working with Health Club owners and developing the Company’s Sales Force.
Currently Nathan is Co-Founder and CEO of Rapid Results Background Check Solutions, a background and credit check Company. Rapid Results is currently performing pre-employment screening for dozens of fortune 500 clients including IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Southwest Airlines, Oracle, etc. Company revenues have seen a consistent 300% year on year increase for the past 3 years.
Ron has spent 23 years in his Insurance career developing and growing businesses across the country. After earning degrees in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems, Ron started working for a start-up Title Insurance Company. Ron helped propel the growth of the Company past their goals. He became Vice President where he led the marketing and sales team to become the largest independently owned entity of its kind handling more transactions than any privately held company in the market.
Ron’s career then took him to an opportunity in which he was hired to expand a small local Title Insurance Company into a national platform. After only a two-year stint, they successfully hit their goal with expansion to 35 States and ultimately sold to a large competitor.
With his success, Ron decided to open his own business, Meridian Title Company which has been in operation now for 13 years and transacts business in NC, SC, and GA currently. Ron then took another plunge to his current career and joined forces with a large mortgage bank, Movement Mortgage, to open other vertical and ancillary services within the industry on a national level. He is currently Founder/CEO of Epic Title, who has relationships with real estate entities to provide mortgage, insurance and title services throughout the county. He has personally opened operations in TX, NV, AZ, CA, MN, NC, SC, VA, TN and GA.
Tim has over 20 years as a technology evangelist; utilizing both his degree in Electrical Engineering and MBA. He was directly involved in every phase of launching 3G wireless in North America (Motorola) and has held management and executive roles in vendor management (Lowe's), software testing (Cognizant), IT and business consulting (Cognizant), and the launch and build of a new global services and software business based on the IBM Mainframe (HCL Software).
